World Sim Series recognizes that your privacy is serious business and we are committed to protecting your personal information. This website Privacy Policy (the “Privacy Policy”) describes the types of information collected about you when you visit the https://worldsimseries.com website (the “Site”), how that information may be used, when it may be disclosed, how you can take steps to control the use and disclosure of your personal information, and how that information is protected by us.
In this Privacy Policy, “we”, “us” and “our” means MB World Sim Series, as well as our affiliates, subsidiaries and/or related entities (collectively, “WSS”). Any terms that are not defined in this Privacy Policy shall have the meaning given in the Terms of Service (the “T&Cs”).
1. WHAT WE COLLECT
We collect identity and contact information when you register for World Sim Series. We also collect
information through your participation in competitions/games, including records of your gameplay
(competitions entered, wins, losses, console details, network handles), records of your transactions with WSS, and activity when you use or view our website or emails. Depending on how you participate with WSS, you may choose to share additional information with us.
2. HOW WE USE IT
We use your personal information to administer WSS service (to track registrations, to award prizes, to operate competitions/games), to better understand your preferences and interests, and to communicate information about offers, competitions/games, and other opportunities to further participate in programs with WSS.
3. WITH WHOM WE SHARE IT
WSS shares your personal information with third party data processors in order to administer the service and your account. Suppliers and third party data processors are contractually obligated to
maintain confidentiality, safeguard all information provided to them, and use the information disclosed to them only for purposes related to WSS.
4. THE LEGAL BASIS FOR PROCESSING YOUR PERSONAL DATA
The legal basis for processing personal data related to your participation in the WSS service is contractual for the purpose of fulfilling our obligations to you in accordance with the applicable T&Cs of WSS.
5. HOW WE PROTECT IT
WSS protects your personal data using a range of physical, operational and technological safeguards that prevent unauthorized access to and disclosure of it. When no longer required, personal information is destroyed, anonymized, or disposed of using secure methods.
6. YOUR CHOICES
The collection and handling of certain personal information is necessary to maintain membership and participate in the WSS service.
You may, however, opt out of the collection and handling of your personal information for other purposes—including opting out of receiving marketing and promotional material from WSS.

To request deletion of your account and associated personal data: click on top-right user menu > ‘Edit Profile’ > ‘Delete account’.
To opt-in or opt-out from marketing and promotional material: click on top-right user menu > ‘Settings’ and toggle ‘Email newsletter’.
7. ADDITIONAL TERMS
7.1. CHILDREN’S INFORMATION
Another part of our priority is adding protection for children while using the internet. We encourage parents and guardians to observe, participate in, and/or monitor and guide their online activity.
WSS does not knowingly collect any Personal Identifiable Information from children under the age of 13. If you think that your child provided this kind of information on our website, we strongly encourage you to contact us immediately and we will do our best efforts to promptly remove such information from our records.
7.2. LOG FILES
WSS follows a standard procedure of using log files. These files log visitors when they visit websites. All hosting companies do this and a part of hosting services’ analytics. The information collected by log files include internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time stamp, referring/exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks. These are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable. The purpose of the information is for analyzing trends, administering the site, tracking users’ movement on the website, and gathering demographic information.
7.3. COOKIES AND WEB BEACONS
Like any other website, WSS uses ‘cookies’. These cookies are used to store information including visitors’ preferences, and the pages on the website that the visitor accessed or visited. The information is used to optimize the users’ experience by customizing our web page content based on visitors’ browser type and/or other information.
