WELCOME TO THE SKIPPY CUP RACING SERIES 2024 SEASON 2!

Quick races on Assetto Corsa every 2 hours with fun and slow formula race cars.

NEW THIS SEASON

  • Divisions are ordered based on the WSS Racing License. If it's the same then based on Pace Rating.
  • To register for the race 5 valid laps in the free practice are required once per week.
  • No qualifying. Grid is ordered based on WSS Pace Rating.
  • You have 4 minutes to connect before the start. When you join the race server you go straight to the race.
  • Tire warmers are enabled. The race starts with warm tires.
  • 12 best out of 13 weeks count towards the overall standings.
  • Races start every 2 hours.

RACING LICENSE

  • Rookie racing license is required. If you don't have a Rookie racing license here is how to get it.
  • You can upgrade your racing license to AM by completing 5 races without incidents in this series or other Rookie series.
  • There must be a minimum of 5 drivers for the race to count.

FIXED CAR SETUP

  • A fixed car setup guarantees equal possibilities
  • The setup is adjusted slightly to suit each track.
  • The car has no ABS or traction control so be careful and this car will teach you good driving habits.

SERIES CONCEPT

  • Events start every 2 hours.
  • Continuously looping free practice server 24/7.
  • No qualifying.
  • 5 valid laps in the free practice per week are required.
  • 12 min race.
  • Total event duration is about 17 minutes.
  • A new round with a new track starts every week.
  • 4 best race results from each week count in the overall series standings.
  • 12 best out of 13 weeks count towards the overall standings.

DRIVER ACCOUNTABILITY

  • Drivers should race clean so everyone can have a great experience.
  • Drivers can submit a post-race driver report.
  • To submit a driver report go to the result page of the race and click on the Driver report button.
  • Penalties can range from a 5s time penalty to a ban from WSS.

FIRST TIME RACING IN WSS?

  • There are a few things to do one time before you can enjoy Assetto Corsa to the fullest.
  • Download and install WSS app.
  • Download and install Content Manager. A must-have to enable all the moded features of Assetto Corsa.
  • Download and install Custom Shaders Patch (CSP). It can make Assetto Corsa look like a brand-new game. Also enables night races.
  • Download and install Real Penalty. It Improves the Assetto Corsa automatic penalty system.
  • Enable Real Penalty in Content Manager.
  • When you have all this done WSS app will take care of the car, track, and skin download and install when joining a server via WSS.
  • Read the rules so you race clean and get along with other drivers in the WSS community.

PRIZES

  • Top 3 drivers in overall standings will be awarded with WSS monthly premium subscriptions and virtual trophies displayed in the driver profile.
  • A new racing season starts every quarter so there are 4 chances per year to win the prizes.
